OpConnect Awarded E&I Cooperative Contract for Comprehensive Fleet Charging Solution
OpConnect has earned a competitively solicited agreement with E&I Cooperative to provide comprehensive fleet charging solutions for K-12 schools, higher education, and other cooperative members. This contract allows members to bypass a competitive bidding process, saving time and resources while receiving preferential pricing.
Selecting reliable suppliers for fleet charging solutions can take time and effort for school districts. E&I Cooperative Services, the only member-owned, non-profit sourcing cooperative, removes the uncertainty for the education community.
OpConnect delivers comprehensive turnkey charging solutions from site design to equipment procurement, construction, installation, networking, and maintenance. The OpConnect software can integrate with renewable, solar energy and battery energy storage systems.

The contract encompasses Level 2 (L2) and DC Fast Charging (DCFC) EV charging stations, networking services, maintenance, and additional value-added services such as renewable solar energy, mobile charging, and charging-as-a-service. All 6,000+ E&I members can make direct purchases through the contract, eliminating the need for a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) process. OpConnect is one of four contract awardees selected through a rigorous competitive bidding process. The Agreement term will be for five (5) years, with one five (5)-year renewal option.
